The 2026 Pacific Southwest Open was a great success. Over the course of 3 days, the tournament garnered 250+ participants and gave out $15,000 in cash prizes to winning participants. Every player received a complimentary welcome packet as well as complimentary snacks and beverages. There was also a GM lecture, grand raffle, gift shop, and outdoor seating with a giant chess set. We will be hosting the Pacific Southwest Open in 2027, so stay tuned for announcements!

Day & Knight Chess Club is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit building disciplined, strategic thinkers through chess. We make tournaments, academy training, and after-school programs accessible to every student, regardless of background.
